Steering wheel retrim

Have my steering wheel being collected next Friday for a retrim. Its the vtec version rather the the standard EF7 one.

Am planning on getting the centre pad retrimmed as well and keeping the black stitching. Just wondering has anyone done one recently and have the finished article to show?

I haven't seen many crx steering wheels retrimmed but if you look at daveol's project thread on his moondust silver siR he got an ITR steering wheel done. Would be nice to see one freshly retrimmed

His looks tidy alright. Will get some before and after pictures anyway. Mine is pretty tidy as it is, so was torn about re-trimming it - but there are a few marks on it - and the rest of the interior will be done anyway, so it won't stick out too much.

I have an iVT/siR wheel that had the leather cut off it for some reason I could be interested in getting it done too in future as a nice clean spare

Dave did you see the completely original silver iVT for sale at the minute? Would be a nice car and investment to get you back in a CR-X again #128513;

I've used Jack a few times as well and he's very good, but I'm using a new guy now - Pieter - who sends the wheels over to his mam in Poland to do! Quality is excellent, and its €100 for a basic job.
