Default To Break or not to Break.

Hi Lads,

I have been toying with the Idea although it kills me of braking my 91 VTI cel blue.

Now the only way I will break the car is if 1. Its worth my while, cash wise. And 2. If I get lots of interest in parts, so I can completely strip it rather than piss around bit by bit.

The cars parts are all 100% except the rear brake calibers are a bit seized from lying up.

I have my heart set on an SIR but the only way I could achieve this is to break mine and sell for parts with a bit of saving. (Keep ot quite from he misses #128521
I know that the parts from it will help alot of you and I would be happy that they go to you guys.

So with that in mind. You all know these cars. 91 celblue VTI EE8

So if you post here, all parts that you want. Once I have most of it sold I will begin breaking all together.
I know it is a bit awkward but its a perfectly good car, but would be worth more for parts. Let me know what we think.

Best bet would be to strip everything off the car and sell the bare setup driving if possible I know a fella looking for a full vtec conversion so could sell this way.

What kinda price are you trying to get back on the whole car and can know to best way to sell or break it.

As a whole I would like 2k. For all parts 100% driving away. Cos it would be perfect for a conversion. Most parts are brand new.

Shame to see a good car being broken but...
I need a bonnet
Rear side window seals
Track rod ends if in good condition
Possibly more can take a look at the weekend

If the shafts are perfect too one on the lads is after a set

Have you tried sell the car complete? Id advertise it complete before breaking it to be honest, I broke an EK9 recent enough and it is a lot of hassle, effort of stripping it, lads wasting time, people haggling over prices that are already low, been left with niggly bits which wasnt a lot on an EK9 because everythings an upgrade to a normal civic but might be more on a CRX...maybe im wrong but i dont think there would be as much money in breaking one as youd think

Count up all the big parts of the car first off and see is it worth your while

I see what your saying squire. It would be alot of hassle. But I want to get as much as possible for it.
For the lads that need parts. Offer prices with the parts you want. I will add them up and see if the total adds up. I will probably put it up on adverts and donedeal tomorrow. See what I can get? And you guys can have a look at her.
