I just collected the crx from the upholsterer , needs a clean for being in his workshop , but i couldn't wait to post some pics ,
1 or 2 issues to be sorted buy over all im vert happy .
i was disappointed with the reaction over on crx-uk ,most thought it was awful , so you can be honest , I've heard it all before

its been ages since we've seen any updates on anyones projects on this forum. I think it looks smart. Is the leather good quality? If you dont like the color it can always be dyed anyways, the hard part is the upholserer fitting it. Looks like a really nice sitting room

All you need now is some Guinness beer taps coming from the dash....
It does look a bit like a 1950's pub in there.
Sorry!

i don't know if its just the pictures , but ive just been to the petrol station , when i came out there was a bloke at the car , was all chat ,saying it was a beauty and that the interior was incredible ( his word ) ,ill wait till a few see it in the flesh , either way i love it , so thats what really counts.

I was always told that if I didn't have something good to say then don't say anything at all.

Saying that, the job itself looks decent and the leather will tighten up a bit, removing some of the loose creases. The colour isn't to my taste if I'm to be honest but that's just a personal view.

It's not an easy thing to do, re-upholster seats in leather and whoever done the job done it well.

Fair play and well wear Brian.

Well, I suppose I was a bit sarcastic with my comments, but Brian did ask us for our honest opinion. I've no doubt the workmanship is 100%, the job looks like a good one! Just the colours are bit too retro for me.
Each to their own.
Probably looks much better in the flesh!
Best of luck with it Brian!

No offence was meant , so none was taken , the reaction by everyone who has seen the car has been positive , so ill await a meet to see what you think .
The colours ware chosen mainly because i just like em , but i googglleedd car interiors and this type of colour scheem always looked good ( to me ) and a retro look was what i was after ,after all it is an 80's car .
cheers
