Default A few bits needed, as usual....

Howdy lads, finally got around to fitting the Tein coilover kit that has been sitting in my garage for about the last decade or so, inevitably some other issues are niggling away in the background so some bits are need if anyone has anything left in their respective parts bin:

- Interior mirror adjustment switch, needs to be the one for folding mirrors as it's actually the button that folds/unfolds the mirrors that's gone (not working or only working very occasionally)

- The gubbins necessary to attach the rear anti-roll bar. The bar itself is OK, just completely detached as all the bits to attach it have rusted away. Prepared to buy these new if anyone knows if they are still available?

- Set of CV joint boots and a full set of ball joints! Are these still available new?

I'll have all the part number for the last bits I'll have a look tomorrow they can all be got new in the motor factors. Are you sure it's the folding mirror button too not mirrors themselves? They do get a bit sticky over time

One is a bit sticky, or it doesn't grab, if you know what I mean. But sometimes you push the button and nothing happens at all, although that has become the norm now (they will still work when you reconnect the battery, for example)

Any part numbers you have would be great, Paul, I'm notoriously bad at ordering the right parts for anything on this car (wrong brakepads AGAIN recently!)

All the bits for the rear ARB seem to be still available, what bits are you actually needing from this pic?

51220-SH0-A01
51220-SH3-003
51220-SK7-003

These are the 3 different OEM part numbers listed for front lower ball joints. They all fit just one part number might have superseded the other, try Google them for a cross-reference to a blueprint or other cheaper alternative pattern parts

And for the CV booth they are fairly universal any motor factors should stock something that fits.

I still wouldn't be convinced your mirror switch is gone too but I can let you try the one from my CRX to see if it works for you

Not really sure, basically all the bits needed to attach the bar, I think!

Is it just you and me here these days?

If you can get a picture of whats damaged/missing you could get a better idea of what's needed..

I'd say we have a few lurking Paul alright but most forums are gone very quiet, just glad to see any traffic here

I think with the advent of social media and my laptop breaking a few years ago has led to teh demise of my forum days .

Do you get notifications or do you just go in and look for posts?
