Default Thinking of refurbing rocker - read this

Just thought Id share this. Its basically a write up on how an S15 engine got wrecked because some of the blast media was not cleaned out of the rocker cover after refurbishment. I think Ive heard of this happening to someone in Ireland also.

Yea this happened to two people I know.

One was an integra type R and the other was a cosworth merc. Both done by tallaght powder coating. Only use nitromers or similar on rocker covers to avoid this.

Think its the type R i read about probably on DTD. Scary how something so simple could do so much damage.
