Default Drag Day Meet

Well after loads of talking Im gonna throw up a date which can take in a weekend event at a reasonable price..

DATE: 5th July (sunday)
WHERE: Bishopscourt AirStrip, Ardglass, Co Down

Since we have a few on here with well built cars on the way what better than a drag day to see if it was all worth it
We should have a fairly interesting mix of cars with B16s, B18, B20, B16 Turbo?????? and might even have a few D series running

The price is £40 if booked in advance which allows for unlimited drag runs with professional timing and print outs. And if ye are fast enough prizes..

The drag strip is run by sideways racing club and we will be gate crashing Rd5 of the Irish Drag Campionship so there will be plenty of competition and we'll get to show what old hondas can really do.. INFO: http://www.sideways-racing.co.uk/ind...t01returnid=51

Us down south lads might head to Dublin saturday where we could meet for some photos with the reast of the CRXs and even karting if the mood takes us and would be up for a session saturday night too whether it be in Dublin or up North..

Any suggestions, questions etc just throw them up and we'll get this thing going

Maybe have the session in Belfast that sat nite after the meet, there is plenty of secure parking hotels up there for our cars and its only 20miles away from the drag track, the closer the betr bcoz i'm sure we will have some lingering hangovers that morning[|)] and no doubt the drink will be flowing up there on sat nites

I'll more than likely be there be it in a crx or not.Don't think there would be any point in drag racing my 1.5x.John and bob and the rest of the northern crew can show us the places to hit the town in belfast.

Id say definately run the duel carbs.. I ran my 1.4 sedan and had a ball up there youve nothing to loose and its worth it seeing other cars gettin shocked by the old carbs

Should open this to old hondas like the last big meet we had..
DAs, hatches/sedans, preludes, A Beat etc?

Was thinking aswell, on saturday meet in Phoenix Park have the usual chatting etc and then convoy up to belfast through the Port tunnel[^]
Will be the 6-7euro toll but will be fun to have a few CRXs tearing up through the tunnel with the roar from the exhausts, would make for some nice vids

Dont think so..
Depends really what everyone wants to do Ive stayed in the Beaufort Lodge and The Maill and both are lacking in any kinda of craic or nightlife..

Myself and Jeff were kinda thinking Belfast??
Book in somewhere with secure parking and then wreck the city drinking
