Default Crx restore

hi all bought this 16v d16a9 a few months back just been cleaning it up and getting it sorted.

So far i have stripped all the interior out to check for rust.

took off all the trims and the back bumper/sill cover found 3 small patches of rust couldn't believe that there was so little for a 91 car
sent the car off to a really good panel beater/sprayer got the 3 areas of rust cut out and redone must say he did a class job, While he was at it he waxed the inside and outside of the arches and sills to prevent rust in future and sealed up all the arches.

I have taken out the sunroof as the outer panel is fooked and then gave the drain pipes a god clean with the air compressor, gave the interior a good steam clean and put it back in, on the hunt for a new carpet and foot mats.

things i have to do

get new sunroof panel and rubber (rubber ordered today from Mr Honda €82[:0][:0]
sort clutch as its fooked
get alloys refurbed and sprayed white
clean up suspension as surface rust on it and spray black
get new carpet and put it in
get car through nct (shouldnt be to hard.
get bumper support bar
flush out spoiler
paint all trim stain black

ok so less talk and few pics

day i bought it

stripped out interior

good floor and no rust

plan is to keep it very standard and make it mint, maybe some day ill put a b18c in there when i have some money tho haha.

hoping to pick up a carpet this weekend and a bumper support bar

Love this CRX did you get it from the Chinese lad in redpower?
Colour and facelift shortlight front bumper look perfect, definately one of my favourite CRXs around just get it to its full potential and it will be a serious car!
What suspension is in it?

How are the sills underneath the covers?

there is some sort of ebay cheap suspension in it soon to be removed and put back on new shocks and lowering springs. the suspenion in it is to hard for my liken

ill get some recent pics up as i had the rust sorted and few bits

ok small bit of an update, got the car back with the few bits of body work done , must say he did a class job

so the rubber on the sunroof had perished so i got a new one and spent a few hours taken out the sunroof and removing the panel, Just waiting to get a bit of money together to get the panel sorted as a fiberglass one is 200 euro and a new panel from honda is about 330 [xx(][xx(].

So when i had the interior out i checked for any surface rust and none !! also sealed the inside of the arches

Then put back in the interior oh and got a new carpet and glued it in, much thicker than the old one and like new got the carpet and a backbumper support bar off a guy in louth who has one for breaking/selling.

also picked up a set of back mudflaps need to get them on.

i have to take off the back bumper as the support bar is not great on it was thinking of putting on the ef8 bumper that my brother had lieing around also have a front ef8 bumper with indicators for sale

will the ef8 bumper fit??

few pics no order really oh and car needs a good wash

Nice updates good to see it getting some work done

No the EF8 bumper wont fit they are for the longer light vtec front (you could modify it to fit but its a cut up job on it..
What colour is the bumper and how much for it and the indicators?

@mickey: Thats a standard 16v spoiler easy enough to get from the UK.. Just not many of them CRXs over here
