gearbox
I gonna build a gearbox for drag racing for next year
but i was thinking about having longer 2nd and 3rd gears or have 1st and 2nd standard and 3rd longer gear has any one any info about gear ratios or swapping gears in a cable boxes what would be the best fd to use

The standard ratios in a Y1 should be good enough if the syncros are ok
Youll be at the top of 4th at the end of the 1/4 mile on the standard FD if you go for a 4.4 out of a J1 box you would probably be pulling 5th.
