2nd hand engines

where is a good place to source engines , i may in the near future be looking for A6 block + Z6 head + carbs ????

traynors scrap yard up the north are pretty big and bring in engines afaik.

DAZ on crxuk recons the above will produce 145 bhp no problem , just thinking out loud .

Ive seen a 1.4 produce nearly that.

Ill be in visiting Thumper up here on friday. Will throw an eye around. What cars do those yokes come in?

TM engines in Ballymoney 04827664161. He usually keeps a good stock, not sure of the older carb stuff
