Default Jap Parts

Hey all,

Anyone got good contacts for getting JDM parts? I've got a few numbers to call and I did find a guy who was prepared to get second hand parts for me. Thing is that I want to get new parts or maybe reconned parts.

Looking specifically for track rod ends for an EF8. So far I have had no luck in finding them

I'm close to Dublin. I was asking my mechanic about fitting second hand parts and he said that he wouldn't do it! lol... Reckon I'll have to get these parts from honda Big expense expected!

better off saving money by fitting new parts yourself than getting a mechanic to fit used parts. id still ring around a few places such as motor factors to compare prices than to just go to honda.

Thats true but I have a good mechanic that isn't too expensive

Yeah, I defo don't want to go to honda but the motorfactors that I use can't get the tre's in. They can get loads of the other parts easy enough but not the tre's. I guess I could try some other motorfactors but the only other one I have had dealings with sucks and I would rather not give him my buisness.

I have heard of a guy in my area who used to drive a crx and he used to get parts in over the web somehow. I can't track the guy down though

I enquired about the TRE's for both sides from Honda. ~150 quid for the pair. Not terribly expensive and I would be getting the Honda part rather than a spurious part. Reckon I will have to go with the Honda part allright.
