Y1 Rebuild Kit
Looking at sorting the Y1 LSD box in my CRX once and for all
Thinking of going for parts from www.synchrotech-transmissions.com Now question is are the syncros enough or would I need a full rebuild kit? So looking to know
Do I need a full kit or just syncros Are the carbon ones much better than the Brass ones And anyone else interested in a set can split shipping costs $56.35 is P&P on rebuild kits $41.50 is P&P on Syncro kits Ad a bit more for aditional items

You deffo need the bearings to go with the synchros. The bearings have 20 years wear on then too at this stage, and are as likely to have worn or failed. It'd be a pain in the balls to break open the box and then realise you can't go any further for the sake of 100 dollars. I got the carbon ones, but I'd say their probably overkill unless you were racing or doing loads of trackdays. You know you'll probably buy them cos' their carbon though!

Im planning on being out on track in March with the CRX so might as well go for the whole lot like you say dont want to be regretting not doing it afterwards
