brake conversion
my brakes are shite in my 1.5. just wondering if it just has to be an 88 accord 2 litre that ya can get the master cylinder and calipers and discs out of or will 2.2 stuff do as well as far as i know the 2 litre is 242mm discs and the 2.2 litre have 262mm discs will the calipers off the 2.2 bolt straight on to mine or what? been looking for the first type but came accross the second. thanks

want to put in the master cylinder and front calipers off the accord to hold a bigger disc. the back brakes should be fine with the increased pressure from the master cylinder, i think anyway

like would a 1990 accord still have the same stuff or was there a model change or anything.

That’s all my fault :-) I had the opportunity to route though a shelf of Honda brake bits in a scrap yard and that’s what i found that fitted, they bolted right up and allowed me to use the 16v front disks. It’s possible other years and models can be made to fit i never tried.
Mark.
