Default Suspension set up opinions...?

Has anyone a good spring and shock combination that they're happy with, enough to recommend?
I'm not looking for crashy coilovers, as it's my daily driver, a good spring and shock, not too stiff, would suit grand. A little lowering, about 40mm would be sweet.

The car will be coming to the ring in october with me, but I'm not buying a set up specifically for the trip............

The Eibach Pro's are great springs. Progressively wound, so stiffen up when pushed but are pretty comfortable for everyday use. Not cheap though.

I've got these with Koni adjustables which ended up with a severe drop, so I had spacers made to bring the ride height back up so I can drive over speed bumps. You're welcome to come over to check em out if you're in Dublin.

Thanks lads, I was edging towards eiback from searching on the us forums and the us, either that or koni yellow. I came across kyb also.

I may take you up on the offer of that quick look, I'll give it a week or so before I have the rex on the road full time though.

Cheers lads.

Tein basics coilovers are in my price range, but I've read mixed reviews about their comfort, varying from rock hard to soft. Each to their own I guess. I'm torn on what to go for though.
